street light technician

This position is responsible for repairing and maintaining streetlights.  Must be able to manage job tasks according to project plans while managing company equipment and vehicles while following company safety and health policies. This is an entry level position. We offer on-the-job training and weekly pay schedule.  This is an outdoor position. All tools, uniforms, and PPE are provided. 

  • Install and maintain streetlights and related equipment often utilizing aerial devices.
  • Operate heavy and light construction equipment such as bucket trucks, digger derricks, air compressors, generators, backhoes and other tools need to complete scope of work.
  • Maintain a good working relationship with all persons involved in the construction process such as traffic control companies and utility companies.
  • Excavate ground areas for setting foundations and poles.
  • Maneuver construction equipment safely.
  • Interpret construction plans and follow detailed instructions according to plans and supervisor directions.

traffic signal technician

  • Oversees and assist with the installation, maintenance and repair of street lighting and traffic signal equipment.
  • Provide daily report of operations, material needs and issues such as maintenance needs for construction project or company equipment to the general foreman. 
  • Ability to work in a bucket or platform truck.
  • Ability to read blueprints/plan and construct as per plans.
  • Able to read blueprints/plan and construct as per plans.
  • Able to direct and oversee Traffic Signal Laborers.
  • Able to operate various equipment in order to install signal items including but not limited to bucket truck, digger derrick/book truck, etc. 
  • Able to work full-time including potential overtime during holidays, emergencies, weekends, etx.  
  • Must be willing to obtain a Class “A” or “B” drivers license (CDL) within 120 days of hire.
